Scope and Contents Drawing of Gaddis, an ethno-linguistic, semi-pastoral tribe group found mainly in states of Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, India. The drawing also shows goat flocks and Europeans huntng a tiger in the background. The proportions and perspective are extraordinary, but the dress and habits of the Gaddis are portrayed to the life: one can notice the dull-grey flannel coats, inside which little lambs and kids are stowed...
